Diner Santé ("we", "us") takes the protection of your personal information seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as modernized by Law 25) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Diner Santé offers free in-home culinary experiences in Quebec and acts as an authorized distributor of premium cookware.

2. Person responsible for personal information
The management of Diner Santé acts as the person responsible for the protection of personal information. For any question or request concerning your information, write to info@dinersante.ca or call +1 514 653-8915.
3. Information we collect
We only collect information you provide voluntarily:
- Booking form: first name, last name, phone, email, city or area, chosen menu, number of guests, preferred time, referral code (optional) and comments.
- Communications: information contained in your emails, calls or messages.
- Financing (if applicable): if you choose to purchase equipment with a financing option, the information required to process your credit application (see section 6).
Our website requires no account and uses no advertising cookies or analytics trackers.
4. How we use it
- To organize and confirm your free culinary experience;
- To answer your questions and follow up on your request;
- With your consent, to send you information about our menus, services or catalogue;
- At your request, to process a purchase or financing application;
- To comply with our legal obligations.
We never sell or rent your personal information.
5. Consent
By submitting the booking form or contacting us, you consent to the collection and use of your information for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@dinersante.ca; we will then stop using your information, subject to our legal obligations.
6. Credit checks and financing
If you choose to purchase equipment with a financing option, a credit check may be performed through a credit reporting agency, such as TransUnion, only with your explicit consent, given at the time of the application. Only the information necessary to process the application is transmitted. The credit agency's use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.
7. Sharing with third parties
Your information may be processed by a limited number of service providers, only to the extent necessary:
- Form processing: booking form submissions are routed through the FormSubmit service so they reach us by email. Its servers may be located outside Quebec and Canada.
- Website hosting: our hosting provider processes the technical data needed to serve the site.
- Web fonts: the site loads fonts via Google Fonts; your IP address is transmitted to Google to deliver the font files.
- Credit agency: only in the context described in section 6.
When information is communicated outside Quebec, we ensure it receives adequate protection, in accordance with Law 25.
8. Retention and security
We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, then destroy it securely. We apply reasonable security measures (restricted access, password-protected tools) to protect your information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
9. Your rights
In accordance with the law, you may at any time:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- Request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Withdraw your consent to the use or disclosure of your information;
- Request that the dissemination of personal information cease, where applicable;
- File a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

10. Cookies
Our site uses no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. Only technical elements strictly necessary to display the site may be used.
11. Minors
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without the consent of the holder of parental authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its update date, is always published on this page.
